We provide a platform for students to learn in an effective way about subjects that interest them and promotes retention of knowledge relevant to state licensure and success in a professional salon. Texas Cosmetology partners with leading, professional manufacturers to personalize learning for students, and to include product knowledge devised to bridge the gap between school and entering the workplace as a licensed salon professional.ur courses can be taken either for personal enrichment or as prerequisites for fulfilling professional requirements.

Students wanting to enhance their school experience can enroll on their own as an extension of instructor-led learning. 

Instructors and schools may choose an annual subscription for their entire school as a distance learning tool.  You provide the students, we provide the application for approval of distance learning, instruction, grading, and hour reports. This is a turn-key solution. Choose to be as involved as you wish, or use our platform as an extra set of hands! 

Distance Learning Approval

Reach out to Texas Cosmetology Educators to begin the process of obtaining approval to offer our distance learning program at your school. We will be happy to schedule a live, virtual demo and provide a quote for your program.  We have several different options to fit the needs of your school. 

Student Tools & Kits

We have a number of options to add student tools or kits pertaining to the training course.  In most cases, these kits are an optional purchase.  You can certainly make use of our distance learning program without purchasing the kits.  You may choose to obtain these items on your own.  Many of our educators like the convenience of our kits developed specifically for our distance learning. Additionally, it helps our educators avoid the pitfalls of spending money out of their own pocket! 

Full School OR Individual Student Enrollment

We will work with Licensed Texas  Cosmetology, Specialty, or Barbering Schools to submit their application to TDLR for approval to offer our distance learning program through their school.  
After approval has been received, schools will have several different options to onboard the program, including full school annual subscription or individual student self-enrollment and self-pay.
